What is EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)

EFT comes from Ancient Chinese and Taoist monasteries dating as far back as 5000 years. Dr George
Goodheart, the founder of Applied Kinesiology, Dr Roger Callahan, the founder of TFT (Thought Field Therapy), Gary Craig (Master NLP and Self improvement practitioner) were part of the wave of brilliant men who developed the amazing and effective healing techniques we are fortunate to be using today.

As the EFT method progressed; it was made easier and simpler, allowing practitioners to deal with all mental, emotional and physical issues using tapping on a combination of ‘meridian points’ on specific points of the body; mainly hands, upper torso and face, gently, whilst focusing on the pain or emotion it is effective for clearing away many unwanted ailments, illnesses, traumatic emotions, phobias, states of mind and physical issues.

This is a non-invasive technique, similar to acupressure and acupuncture (without the needles). The beauty of this way of working with illness is that it does not work with your mind, therefore, you do not need to believe in the process for it to work. So for those of you who are in any doubt; whether you have experienced let downs in your past choices of treatment…I invite you to see for yourself, the proof is in the results.

Initially, I like to have a consultation where I clarify what it is that you want to work with. I will then explain how EFT mechanics work. This then allows you to have a tailor made technique to suit your needs. This is important so that you, as a client, understand how the process works and what is expected of you. My only demand from you is your involvement and commitment in your wanting to change your health for the better and want to take charge of that process.

I facilitate your return to wellness in whatever area you wish to work on. I am a strong believer in my clients’ empowerment…long term. I do this by teaching you EFT so that you can start taking responsibility for your health and well-being. I believe that by giving you tools to make effective changes it empowers you use these techniques when you are not with me; an ongoing process that allows you to work on issues, clearing any new upsets and traumas, I will work closely with you and ensure that you are held safe.
